The Role:

We are looking for someone who is hands-on, with maintenance and general DIY skills.  This may include routine maintenance, repairs, gardening and one off small projects. You should have a responsible approach to health and safety.

 

This a back of house role (BOH) and you will be reporting to the museum manager.

This role will suit someone who is: ​

• Has any of the following skills  -  General DIY. Painting and decorating.  Electrical and / or Woodworking skills would be desirable but not essential

• Wants to use their skills to benefit the museum and the Foxton Locks site.

• Self starting and motivated to work independently and as part of a team.

Commitment:

• This role is flexible, with an expected commitment of at least 1 day per month (all year round).

 

Requirements:​

• References needed

• Over 18+ years old

• Good communication and interpersonal skills

• Desirable but not essential, experience working on a heritage / historic site
